This is an 11" diameter 5.18 lb (2.35kg) hand-hammered Tibetan Singing Bowl made from seven metals by beating the bowl manually with a hammer to form its shape. This bowl is decorated with authentic hand hammered markings and sings very easily. These bowls are made with a plain design so are simple to look at but produce a complex but deep and melodious sound. This kind of singing bowl has been used during meditation, for music, relaxation, personal well being, healing energy, chakra creation etc. for generations. With proper technique this bowl keeps vibrating for minutes even after stopping striker to rotate around bowl’s rim.
