SERVICE NUMBER 1 KHUKURI
This 10" special Gurkha Khukuri is called Service No. 1 and is very popular because it was specially issued to brave Gurkha soldiers. This is a battle Khukuri issued to service member of British Gurkha soldiers, Singapore Police and Gurkha Reserve Unit in Brunei. The blade is made of highly grinded (train track) carbon steel and the handle is made of water buffalo horn while sheath is made of buffalo hide.
Condition: Brand new, unused, unopened, undamaged item.

PLACE OF ORIGIN:
This Khukuri is hand made in family owned factory in a small town called Dharan which is located in eastern part of Nepal. Dharan is a famous and important place where new Gurkha soldiers are recruited from and where lots of ex-Gurkha soldiers reside. The town is often referred to as Gurkha town.
